Google Business Profile

For a local business, the Google Business Profile is not a marketing asset. It is the storefront. Most customers form their entire impression there and never reach the website at all.

In short

Your Google profile is often the deciding factor between a call and a scroll-past. We optimize it to drive more calls and walk-ins.

  • Profile Setup & Verification
  • Review Generation & Response
  • Local Posts & Offers
  • Category & NAP Consistency

The actual problem

The typical profile was claimed once, filled in halfway, and abandoned. Wrong hours over a holiday, a primary category that does not match what the business actually does, twelve reviews with no responses, and a Q&A section answered by strangers. Every one of those is a reason to call the competitor listed underneath.

What you get

Deliverables, not deliverable-shaped words.

Every one of these is a real artefact you receive, or a change we make to something you own. Keep scrolling — they come one at a time.

5 deliverables

Profile rebuild

Verification, primary and secondary categories chosen against what actually surfaces you in the local pack, complete service and product listings, attributes, service areas, and hours that include holidays before the holiday.

Review system

A repeatable way to ask that does not feel like begging, wired into how you already talk to customers — plus responses to every review, including the bad ones, which is where most of the trust signal actually lives.

Posts and offers

Regular local posts, offers and event listings, so the profile reads as an operating business rather than an archived one.

NAP and citation consistency

Name, address and phone reconciled across the directories that feed both Google and the AI assistants. Inconsistent details are one of the quiet reasons a business fails to resolve as one entity.

Q&A seeding and monitoring

The questions customers actually ask, asked and answered by you rather than left to whoever wanders past.

How it runs

In this order, for a reason.

  1. Audit and claim

Confirm ownership, find duplicate listings, record what the profile currently says versus what is true.

  2. Rebuild

Categories, services, attributes, hours, photos, description — all of it, properly, once.

  3. Operate

Posts on a schedule, review requests going out, responses within a set window.

  4. Report

Calls, direction requests, profile views and review velocity, with what moved and why.

Before you enquire

Who this is for — and who it is not.

A good fit if

  • You serve customers in a specific place or service area
  • Phone calls and walk-ins matter more to you than pageviews
  • You have customers who would leave a review if asked properly

Probably not yet if

  • You are fully remote with no service area — there is nothing to rank locally

Can you remove a bad review?

Only if it breaks Google's policy — fake, off-topic, or abusive — and we will file that. A genuine unhappy customer cannot be deleted, and trying is a waste of your money. A good public response to a bad review does more for you than its removal would.

How many reviews do we need?

Steady beats large. A profile gaining a few reviews every month reads as a working business; one with 200 reviews and nothing in two years reads as a closed one — to customers and to the ranking system.

Do you need access to our account?

Manager access to the profile, which you grant and can revoke at any time. We never ask for your Google account password, and ownership stays with you.

Want to know what Google Business Profile would do for you specifically?

The audit answers that before anything is scoped or priced. You get a written list of what we found, what it is costing you, and what we would do about it.
